Some sharp-eyed readers might have noticed the new shoes in the previous post, but it's okay even if you didn't, because here's some better pictures of them!

I ordered these Vault platform sandals from Unif some time ago and finally got them after agonizing 3 and half weeks long wait. Ugh, their shipping used to take maximum 5 days so I was okay with paying $20 for it. Now they have two shipping options. The cheaper one (which I used) is $18 and the express shipping is quite salty $35. Turns out the pricey express shipping is the same they had before for $20 and the cheaper one takes waayy longer than the promised 1-2 weeks. Boohoo, Unif, why are you doing this to me.

Anyway, the shoes are made of leather, they look pretty rad and.... they're giving me 3 blisters on BOTH feet. I'm currently trying to break them in by wearing band-aids over the spots where I can feel the blisters are most likely to form and walk short distances with them. The leather should give in, but I have no idea how long it will take before they'll be comfy to wear.... If you have any tips, they're more than welcome!

Also, they jingle quite a lot when walking, so sneaking around is pretty much impossible lol.

No, I'm not that addicted to social media that I couldn't put my phone away when taking outfit photos. The reason why I'm holding it, was because I was testing the new amazing feature of my new camera! My new Olympus PEN Lite E-PL7 has this feature where you can use your smartphone as a remote for your camera and take pictures of yourself, while checking from your phone's screen how you look like! Pretty amazing, huh? I feel like taking outfit photos just got ten times easier. Anyway, this is an all-black outfit I wore on 9th of January.

When deciding whether you should buy a certain piece of clothing, my mom always used to tell me that I should wait, if I wasn't 100% sure. But I dare to disagree. That's exactly what happened to me with this prettiest kimono I've ever laid my eyes on.

When UNIF first released it, I fell in love, but thought I should wait a bit and buy it later. And I've never regretted anything so much in my life (ok I'm exaggerating, just a litte bit). It sold out everywhere and I was left crying because I didn't freaking buy it. I waited for months and hoped they would restock it and decided if they ever did, I would get it no matter what.

On black friday, THEY DID!!! And the best part was, that it was 40% off  too! I cried tears of happiness and ordered it right away.

I finally recieved it and as I already said, it truly is the prettiest thing ever made. BUT, I must admit it's not the most practical piece of clothing for a shortie like me (165cm, hello) because the long fringe at the hem and sleeves sometimes get in the way when you do stuff. If I'm not wearing heels, I will step on it while going up the stairs and it's pretty much impossible to go to the toilet and do your business while you're wearing this. The fringe will get everywhere... you know, ugh.

But I don't care, it's still the prettiest thing in my wardrobe and I wouldn't change a thing. I feel like I can cast some spells while wearing this and I love it!

Here's the outfit I wore a couple days back! What would go better with red lips than red faux leather pants, haha. I bought the pants couple months ago from Karmaloop since they were 100$ off, so it was a good bargain.

But when they arrived, I was shocked to see how huge they were! Well, I knew I might need to fix them a bit once they arrived because I wasn't sure what my size would be, so I just bought the biggest size available lol. Luckily I know the basics about sewing, so they were easy to fix.

I'd actually like to have a sewing machine on my own, so I could fix stuff and make small things by myself. Now I'm just using my parents' machine whenever I visit them.

But damn, do I hate Karmaloop's shipping... it takes like a whole month to recieve your stuff... I still have some Christmas presents on their way... or am I just impatient?

Hi guys! I just flew back to Helsinki from Stockholm couple days ago, since I had a mini holiday from work and decided to go see my bff Alex for the first time after he moved to Sweden. I spent the first three days at his place in Stockholm, partied a little and just had good time cathing up with everything. The other three days, aka the rest of my teeny tiny holiday, we joined some friends and went on a Stockholm-Tallinn-Stockholm cruise.

I had brought my camera with me, but I didn't take any pics with it lol, so I only have some crappy iphone/ipad pics. I think I'd rather post those on twitter/instagram instead of my blog, so if you wanna see random shots from my trip, please keep an eye on my accounts! I already posted a few pics :)

Since I'm lacking pics from the actual trip, here's what I wore on Monday (the first day of the cruise) and wore it again today so I would get outfit photos, haha. I've bought some new pieces lately, and favourite of them is this Psychic Poncho by UNIF and oh my god can I just tell you it's the coolest, yet comfiest thing ever? I love it so much I feel like wearing it everyday.

Also, the shoes are new! I've been looking for some platform sneakers and finally came across a pair when wandering on the streets of Stockholm and saw these in a store window of Scorett. I dragged Alex into the store with me and tried these on and decided I just had to have them. I rarely find shoes irl and order most of my stuff online, so I was really happy with my find. The details are so nice and the shoes are super comfy too!

I got my new UNIF outsider denim jacket in the mail on Thursday and decided to wear it right away! I noticed my outerwear collection had been missing a denim jacket, so I decided to fix the situation. And when this was on sale on Dolls Kill, ooooh, I just had to get it.

Denim is such a perfect material to wear at the moment, when the weather is slowly getting cold but wearing leather or something might get you sweating during the day. Denim can be warm, but it's also a cool material against your skin.

I paired it with my Glad News skull dress and das boot platform heels, also by UNIF. I bought the shoes during this summer and haha, if somebody thinks JC Litas are huge, think again! They're so petite compared to these! I guess I could post a comparison photo for you some day :)

Tässäpä asua eiliseltä (tai no, myös parilta muulta päivältä tällä viikolla koska oon niin tykästynyt tohon mekkoon, höhö). Käytiin eilen Sinin kanssa tuijottamassa ja tanssahtelemassa AVICII:n tahtiin Suvilahdessa, ainakin jonkin aikaa, sillä eilisen ainoot auringon säteet tais olla silloin kun otettiin näitä kuvia. Paikalle päästyämme alkoi sataa vettä kaatamalla... :D Ei siis kauheen kauaa viihdytty, mut eipä jäänyt kaihertamaankaan kun ei mitään maksettukaan.

Here's my outfit from yesterday (or well, from couple other days this week as well, loving my new dress, höhö). Me and Sini went to see and party to AVICII's gig at Suvilahti yesterday, but it seems like the sun didn't show up for more than a moment while we were taking these photos. After arriving to the venue, it started pouring with rain... :D Because of the shitty weather, we didn't stay for long, but it was ok, since we didn't pay for the tickets either.

Tekis niiiin mieli ruskettua, että kaikki valkoset vaatteet näyttäis kivemmilta ihoa vasten, mutta ärsyttää kun tällanen kökkö suomalaisiho ei rusketu ollenkaan :---D Siispä oonkin alottanu mun joka kesäisen itseruskettavilla läträämisen, mutta kun se on niin työlästä ja sotkuistakin... t. ikuisesti katkera ja kalpea :c

I reeeeeally wanna get a tan so all my white clothes would look better on my skin, but this stupid finnish skin doesn't tan at all no matter what I do :---D So, I've started using self tanners like I do every summer, but it's still so messy and annoying... I'll be forever jealous and bitter for those who get a natural tan easily :c

Nojoo. Tästä asusta tuli semisti inkkarivibat (siksi otsikko hehe), vaikkakin ehkä lähinnä vaan ton hiuspannan takia, mutta se kävi mielestäni hyvin yhteen ton UNIFin riekalemekon kanssa! Ehkä oottekin huomannut, mutta oon menettäny sydämeni ko. merkille ihan täysin ja voisin haluta niiltä tyyliin kaiken :-D Toivottavasti se ei häiritse teitä, mutta on oikeesti niin ihanaa löytää kerrankin vaatteita sellaselta merkiltä joka postittaa kledjut suoraan Suomeen! Siks näitä on ehkä vähän kertynyt....

Anyway. This outfit gave out an indian vibe (that's why the title, hehe), even tho it's probably just because of the headband, but I thought it went well together with this UNIF Stray dress! You've probably noticed it already, but I have totally fallen in love with this brand and I'd like to buy like everything from them :-D I hope it doesn't bother you, but it's such a relief for me to have found a brand that ships their stuff directly to Finland! That may be part of the reason why I've bought so many pieces from them lately....

Ostin vähän aika sitten UNIFilta tällaiset ihanat "Moody" aurinkolasit ja tykkään näistä ihan hirmuisesti! Mulla on monet pyöreet lasit koska pyöree on mun lemppari muoto mitä arskoihin tulee, mutta halusin vaihtelua ja nää oli ihanan erikoiset! Tosta muodosta tulee mieleen vähän joku cat eye x alien combo!

Jännitin hirveesti että sopiiko tän muotoset lasit mun naamaan ollenkaan, mut olin ihan positiivisesti yllättynyt! Mitä te ootte mieltä?

I bought these UNIF "Moody" sunnies a while ago and I'm totally in love with them! I own many round sunglasses since it's my favourite shape, but I wanted to try something new and these were so special! The shape is something between a cat eye and alien, so cool!

I was sooo nervous if they would look good on me at all, but I was positively surprised! What do you think?

Päällä toinen UNIFin neuleista, jonka tilasin samaan aikaan edellisen postauksen neuleen kanssa ja joka täällä blogissa kerkesi jo vilahtaakin silloin kun raportoin teille mun muutosta. Halusin kuitenkin ottaa ihan kunnon asukuvia se päällä, joten tässä hyvin samankaltainen asu kuin aiemmin, mutta parempina kuvina!

Mun inhokkivärit on ollut vihree ja oranssi jo vuodesta keppi ja kivi lähtien, mutta jostain syystä oon viimeaikoina lämmennyt sellaselle neon/limenvihreelle... Oranssi tosin saa pysyä kaukana mun vaatekaapista jatkossakin, haha. Onko teillä mitään inhokkivärejä, joille oottekin vuosien jälkeen lämmenneet?

Here I'm wearing another UNIF sweater that I ordered at the same time with the one I showed you in my previous post, and actually there was pics of this one in the post when I told you about me moving into my new apartment and such. Anyway, I wanted to take proper pics of the outfit, so what I'm wearing here, is pretty similar to what I wore back then, but I hope you don't mind!

My least favourite colors have been green and orange as long as I can remember, but lately I've started to like neon/lime green... Orange can stay away from my wardrobe in the future too tho, haha. Do you have any colors you used to hate but learned to like them after many years?

Kävin yks päivä ettimässä missä mun kämpän vinttikomero sijaitsee ja löysin sieltä vintiltä tällasen tyhjän valkosen huoneen, joten otettiin nää kuvat Alexin kanssa :--D Aika kivat näkymät!

One day I went to find out where my aparment's attic storage room was located and also found this white empty room, so me and Alex decided to take these photos there :--D The view was quite nice!
