Remember when I told you I had previously been traumatized by water marbling? I promised to give it a try during this year and seems like that happened sooner than I thought it would :D I also decided why not try more than one method while I'm at it? So I ended up using the regular water marbling technique as well as the water spotted technique.



Water marbling (the regular way) - I have no idea how you guys can get beautiful and symmertical shapes on the water, but i wasn't going for those this time, so these irregular shapes were more than ok! I used yellow, orange, pink and purple polishes for marbling, changing the color combo a bit for each nail to get a lively result.

I didn't use any base color before marbling, so they came out slightly transparent but I don't think it looks bad at all. After marbling I applied a coat of pink shimmery top coat to give it a little sparkle. The top coat smeared the marbling a little, but luckily that's only visible in pictures.



Water spotted - this marbling technique is a bit different and usually only uses one color. I guess you could do it with more than one color too, but I haven't seen anyone do that (yet). Anyway, after dropping a few drops of polish on the water surface, gently spray a little hair spray to it to get distorted shapes like this.

I didn't use this technique on the nails itself, but I figured it would be a great way to make pearls look like turquoise stones! I only had small ones and couldn't find any big ones in stores, so I had to make them myself.

It was a bit hard to dip the pearls in to the water, but I figured the best way to do that, was to apply two-sided tape on an ice cream stick and stick the pearl to it, paint it with turquoise nail polish and then dip it into the water.



Would you guess the bigger stone is actually a DIY one, when you see it next to the smaller factory made ones? I'd say I nailed it pretty well 8-)



Here's all the polishes I used! I don't think I've ever used this many polishes for one set of nails (I usually stick to 2-4 colors).

I also tried out the new Glisten & Glow latex barrier and I fell in love with it right away! It made the cleaning up after marbling sooo much easier!

Yooo! I have a product that I want to review for you. It's a velour liquid lipstick by Jeffree Star and you've already seen me wearing it in a couple of my previous posts. I follow Jeffree on Instagram, not because of his music but because I like the makeup stuff he posts, so when he first started posting about his own cosmetics brand and these lipsticks, I took a mental note to keep an eye on the process because it seemed interesting.

After the long wait was finally over and these were released, there was 3 different colors to choose from and a bundle that included all three colors. I was first thinking about getting all three, but changed my mind because one of the colors was neon pink and I felt like I might not have use for it... So in the end I only bought my favourite color of the bunch, which is this gorgeous shade of purple; I'm Royalty. I love purple lipsticks so much.


The packaging is really cute and reminds me of Barbie for some reason, but it doesn't feel cheap at all when you hold it. I was really sceptic about the applicator and if you can do sharp lines with it, but you can! So you won't be needing a different lip brush for lining.

But if I have to give critique about something, it's the size of the cap you hold on to when applying. I wish it would be a bit bigger so it would fit better in my hand when applying the lipstick. But that's the only thing, hehe.

So! The package says you should allow about 60 seconds for it to dry and after that, it has become completely matte and cool. I filmed at little clip showing how well it stays on after it's dried:

Amazing right? I've actually been trying to eat different things while wearing this, so I could see how well it stays on :DD What I usually find the hardest ones to eat while wearing a lipstick, are salads and with oily dressings and other greasy food, because my lipstick always likes to run outside the lines.

This one on the other hand doesn't do that! The only thing I noticed is that when eating, it might start crumbling a bit from the inner parts, but that's super easy to fix when you're done eating.

Other good points are that it feels like there's almost nothing on your lips when you wear it, and if it's windy outside, your hair won't get stuck on your lips because it's matte.

The removal is a bit harder than with a regular lipstick, because you can't just grab a piece of toilet paper and rub it off. You have to use makeup remover to get it off, but even my non-waterproof remover works fine.


I also wanted to include a little lip lining tutorial to this post about how to make your lips look bigger and fuller, because I've gotten questions if I took lip fillers recently (the answer is no, I haven't :D) and requests for tips. So, here we go!


1. Start with bare lips! As you can see, my upper lip is quite small and I'm okay with that, but it looks a bit silly with lipstick if I don't over-draw the lines a bit.

For a matte lipstick like this one, it's recommended to scrub and moisturize your lips well before using it. So go do some scrubbing and put on lip balm when you start doing your makeup, BUT remember to wipe it off when you get to the part when you do your lips. Otherwise the lipstick might not stay on so well.


2. This step is optional. If you feel like you need some help figuring out where the lines should be, start lining your natural lip line first. Then start rising it slowly till you're satisfied with the size/shape of your upper lip.

I didn't have the exact same color of liner as the lipstick is, but it doesn't matter because the coverage is amazing as it will be opaque in one coat and will hide this liner completely.


3. Go over your lips and the lines with the lipstick. Let dry and you're ready to go!


I might've gotten a bit too excited about this lipstick, because I made an order to Lime Crime few days ago and bought 5 new lipsticks.... (3 of them are liquid ones like this and 2 are regular) I hope I will get them soon! If you wanna see the colors I ordered, go see my Facebook page, I posted a pic there.

Hi guys! As I told you in my previous post, I'm leaving to Italy tomorrow! And since it's a beauty fair I'm going to attend, I wanted to do my nails before the trip so they will be as fab as possible! Here's what I came up with yesterday:

The polishes I used are: Sugar Plum by Ciaté (light purple), my typical gold glitter combo: O.P.I When Monkeys Fly!, Color Club Take The Stage, Color Club Gingerbread and Essie Blanc (white). I also used white art liner for painting the designs on the purple nails and two shades from the new O.P.I Sheer Tints -collection: Be Magentale With Me (pink) and I Can Teal You Like Me (blue).

When I first heard about O.P.I releasing the Sheer Tints -collection, I wasn't interested at all. But after seeing some designs made with them, I totally changed my mind and thought it was actually a pretty cool idea and had to get my hands on them. They're color-tinted top coats if you're wondering btw. You can use them to change the shade of your nailpolish or create different watercolor-like designs with them! Cool right?

Luckily they also come in these mini sets, so I decided to get one of them for myself. I made a tiny step-by-step tutorial about these nails. Here's how to get the watercolor look:

1. Start with painting the nail with white. Apply 2-3 coats to get an opaque result. Let it dry.

2. Once the white base has dried, get your Sheer Tints ready by opening the bottles, because you need to do this step kinda quickly so the nailpolish won't dry before you're done. Use the nailpolish bottle's own brush and apply the polish to your nail with random strokes and overlay the colors with eachother. As I said, it's important to be fast while doing this, so the colors will blend together easier.

3. Once dry, decorate with studs, pearls and rhinestones of your choice! Apply a top coat or sealing gel to secure your desing.

DONE!

Moikka! Nyt on vihdoin sen hiuspostauksen aika mistä mainitsin viime potauksessani. Kuvia on aika reilusti, joten toivottavasti kuvat latautuvat normaalisti myös niillä, joilla on hitaampi nettiyhteys.

Eli ihan alkuun kuva tästä tukasta valmiina, tykkään hirmu paljon! Väristä tuli aika jännä loppujenlopuksi, tollanen sekoitus hopeeta, platinaa ja pastelliviolettia. Ihan ongelmitta tähän ei kuitenkaan päästy. Sävytin oman tukan ja pidennykset Fudgen hopeashampoolla ja samalla kun omaan tukkaan väri tarttui sopivasti, pidennykset imaisivat värin itseensä aivan liian voimakkaasti ja epätasaisesti.. En halunnut kuvata kauhean näkösiä välivaiheita, mutta kerron tässä postauksessa kuitenkin miten ja millä tuotteilla pääsin tästä hiuskriisistä eroon!

Kuten ehkä tiedättekin, oon tähän asti käyttänyt aina klipsipidennyksiä ja koska yks koko pään setti ei oo ollut mulle tarpeeks, oon ommellut kahdet klipsit yhteen ja sen jälkeen iskenyt ne päähäni. Voitte varmaan kuvitella, että ne on aika painavat ja jos ihan totta puhutaan niin multa on katkeillut hiuksia tosta ohimoilta ja muutenkin on tuntunut siltä ettei oman tukan kasvatus edisty yhtään (tosin tiedän että tää johtuu myös joka päiväisestä kihartamisesta ja suoristamisesta).

Oon hiljattain etsiskellyt erilaisia pidennysmenetelmiä ja sit törmäsin sellaseen kuin Flip-in/Halo/Circle pidennys. Voitte googlailla lisää jollain noista nimellä, mutta kyseessä on siis ilmeisen uusi pidennysmenetelmä, joka on klipsien kaltainen siinä mielessä, että se otetaan yöksi pois ja laitetaan takaisin päähän aamulla. Mutta siihen ne yhtäläisyydet sit loppuukin!
Flip-in pidennys on siis yksi leveä hiusosio, joka on kiinnitetty läpinäkyvään siimaan. Pidennys kiinnitetään päähän vähän samalla tavalla kuin hiuspanta ja se ei siis kiinnity hiukseen vaan PÄÄHÄN, minkä takia hiukset ei rasitu ollenkaan!

Tällaiset pidennykset näyttäisi olevan suosittuja etenkin Briteissä, sillä kaikki niitä myyvät nettikaupat mitä löysin, oli brittiläisiä :D Hinnat oli muistaakseni 150-200£ eli melko tyyriitä. Hetken aikaa ajatusta pyöriteltyäni, totesin ettei toi menetelmä oo mitään rakettitiedettä ja päätin väsätä pidennykset itse!

Aloitetaas!

Hi! Now it is finally the time for my hair post that I mentioned in my previous post. This will be picture heavy, but I hope even you with slower internet connection, will be able to see the pictures without problems.

So first, here's a photo of my hair now when it's all ready and done, I like it a lot! The color turned out to be quite interesting in the end, kinda like a mixture of silver, platinum blonde and pastel purple. This wasn't achieved easily tho. I toned my own hair after bleaching and extensions with Fudge's silver shampoo and while my own hair turned out really nice, my extensions became wayyy too purple and the color was uneven too. I didn't wanna take photos of the ugly steps in the process, but in this post I will tell you how I fixed my mistakes anyway!

As you might know, I've been using clip-ons on a daily basis untill now and because one full head set never was enough for me, I always got two and sew them together. You can imagine they are quite heavy and to be quite honest, they caused me tiny hair loss from the sides of my head and it felt like my own hair never grew longer (I know it's also caused by the curling and straightening, not only clip-ons).

I had been searching for different extension methods and then came across something called Flip-in/Halo/Circle extensions. You can google more about it with one of the three names, but it seems like the method is quite new and similar to Clip-ons, because you take it off for the night and put it back on in the morning. But that's the only similarity really!
Flip-in is one wide hair piece that is attached to a transparent wire. You wear it kinda like a hairband, which means it's not attached to your hair, but to your HEAD, which obviously means no damage for the hair, yay!

This kind of extensions seem to be popular in the UK, since all webstores I found seem to be British :D The prices are around 150-200£ so they're more pricier than Clip-ons. After thinking about them for a while, I noticed the method is not rocket sience really and I decided to make them myself!

Let's start!

Tässä kaikki tuotteet/materiaalit mitä käytin hiusten värjäämiseen ja pidennysten askarteluun:

1. 50cm hiusnauhaa värissä #6001 Rapunzel Of Swedeniltä, 100g.
Muhun otettiin tuossa jonkin aikaa sitten yhteyttä kysyen haluaisinko kokeilla jotain Rapunzelin pidennystuotteista, ja mähän halusin! Olin niin kyllästynyt peruukkien käyttöön ja vanhat pidennykset oli siinä kunnossa etten halunnut niitä päähän enää pistää. Valitsin siis itselleni tän hiusnauhan vaaleimmassa mahdollisessa sävyssä.
2. Neula ja lankaa.
Hiusnauhojen yhteen ompelua varten. Käytä mieluiten mahdollisimman samanväristä lankaa kuin hius.
3. Siimaa.
Mikä tahansa läpinäkyvä ja kestävä siima käy. Mä kävin Clas Ohlsonilla ostamassa kalastukseen tarkoitettua siimaa, oli kyllä pakko selventää mua palvelleelle myyjälle, että en siis todellakaan oo ostamassa sitä kalastamista varten, samalla kun tenttasin et mikä on kestävintä jne., haha.
4. Kuminauhaa.
Samoin kuin lanka, myös mahdollisimman samanväristä kuin käyttämäsi hius. Mä käytin mun pidennyksiin valkoista.
5. Hiusväriä.
Tää L'oréalin värinpoisto mitä käytin, oli tosi hyvä, koska yleensä kun vaalennan mun tukkaa, ne värit kutittaa kauheesti ja joutuu rapsutteleen päänahkaa :D Tää ei kutitellut niin paljoa, joten maltoin pitää näppini erossa. Mun tukkaan upposi 2 pakettia.
6. Fudge Silver Shampoo.
Olin kuullut paljon hyvää tästä hopeashampoosta ja päätin sävyttää tukkani sillä. Tarpeeksi jytyä ja hyvää tavaraa, mutta pidennysten kanssa kannattaa olla varovainen, sillä ainakin mun tapauksessa ne värjääntyi paljon herkemmin kuin oma tukka.
Tässä shampoossa on ihana koostumus muuten! Sellanen moussemainen ja hyvin vaahdottuva, eikä se valu vaikka joutuis istumaan se päässä hetken pidempäänkin ennenkuin sen pesee pois.
7. Wella Pure syväpuhdistava shampoo.
Koska kävi niin että pidennyksistä tuli violetimmat kuin toivoin, käännyin Googlen ja juurikasvu.org'n puoleen etsimään neuvoja siitä miten haalistuttaa väriä ilman värinpoistoa. Lopulta keino löytyi ja tein niin, että hieroin pidennyksiin oliiviöljyä, jätin ne muhimaan yön yli ja pesin seuraavana aamuna syväpuhdistavalla shampoolla. Toistin tän muistaakseni 4 kertaa ja väri tosiaan haalistui!
8. Matrix Total Results Repair Mask.
Koska syväpuhdistava shampoo kuivattaa hiusta aika ärhäkästi ja etenkin pidennystä, ostin tällaisen kosteuttavan naamion jota läträsin hiuksiin jokaisen syväpuhdistuksen jälkeen että ne pysyi hyväkuntoisina. Hyvä ostos!
9. Honey Color Mask.
Varmaan ihmettelette tässä vaiheessa että mitä hittoa? Noh, vaikka väri oli pidennyksistä aika hyvin haalistunutkin, violetti kummitteli muutamassa kohdassa vielä vähän turhan paljon ja päädyin etsimään ratkaisua miten saisin sen kertaheitolla pois. Oon joskus saanut taitettua sinisyyden pois harmaasta tukasta jollain perus blondilla hiusvärillä ja ajattelin kokeilla vastaavanlaista kikkaa nytkin.
Kampaamokaupan myyjä oli mun kanssa kyllä eri mieltä ja väitti että toi vetäis mun tukan vaan keltaseks ja oisin taas lähtöpisteessä. Mut kamoon, jos keltasta tukkaa voi sävyttää violetilla puhtaamman sävyseks niin miksei sama temppu toimis toisinkin päin? Perus värioppia.
Nappasin siis Color Maskin mukaan ja lantrasin se kotona reiluun määrään hoitoainetta ja sivelin niihin kohtiin missä violetti vielä pahiten näkyi. Annoin vaikuttaa noin 10 minuuttia ja pesin pois. Liika violetti ja epätasaisuus kaput ja tuloksena yksi tyytyväinen Viivi.


Here's a list of all the products/materials I used for dyeing my hair and making the extensions:

1. 50cm hair weft in #6001 from Rapunzel Of Sweden, 100g.
I was asked recently if I wanted to try out some hair extensions from Rapunzel and ofcourse I wanted to! I was so fed up with wearing wigs only and my old extensions were in a terrible condition so wearing them wasn't an option. I picked out the lightest blonde hair weft they had.
2. A needle and some string.
For sewing the pieces of hair weft together. The color of the string you use should be as close as  possible to the hair color you're going for.
3. Fishing wire.
Any strong and transparent wire is okay. I went to Clas Ohlson to buy some fishing wire and I just had to make sure the guy who helped me to pick it up, knew I wasn't gonna use it for fishing anything :D Poor guy, I was asking so many questions about them like which is the strongest so he must've felt confused, haha.
4. Elastic band.
Like the string, use the color that is as close as possible to your hair color. I used white.
5. Hair bleach.
This bleach from L'oréal which I used, was really good! Usually when I bleach my hair, my scalp feels itchy all the time and I have to scratch it :D This didn't cause the effect and I managed to keep my fingers off my scalp lol. I needed 2 packages for my hair.
6. Fudge Silver Shampoo.
I had heard a lot of good about this shampoo so I decided to tone my hair with it. It's really pigmented and good, but you should be careful when toning your extensions (unlike me), since they took in the color much easier than my own hair.
The texture of the shampoo is moussy and it's easy to apply. And it doesn't drip! Which is good if you have to sit down and wait for a while before washing it off.
7. Wella Pure purifying shampoo.
But as my extensions became more purple than I was going for, I did some Googling and searched hair related forums about how to fade out the color without bleaching your hair. I finally found a solution, which was to soak my hair in olive oil over night and then in the morning wash them with purifying shampoo. I did this 4 times and the color of my extensions got indeed lighter!
8. Matrix Total Results Repair Mask.
Because purifying shampoo dries out your hair a lot, especially extensions, it's super important to keep them moisturized. I bought this moisturizing repair mask and applied it after every wash. My extensions still feel healthy and soft. A great buy!
9. Honey Color Mask.
At this point you must be wondering what the hell I used this for? Well, even tho the excess purple had faded pretty well from my extensions, there was still a few spots that made it look uneven and I ended up looking for a solution for this. I once got blueness out of gray hair with blonde hairdye so I decided to try a similar trick this time too.
The saleswoman in the hair store told me I would only get yellow hair with this and be back in the beginning of my process. But come on, if you can tone yellow hair with purple toner, why wouldn't it work the other way around too? That's how colors work.
So I bought the yellow Color Mask anyway and at home mixed it with a good amount of conditioner and applied it to the problem spots in my extensions. I left it in for about 10 minutes and then washed it off. Problem solved and I was finally satisfied.

Tässä Rapunzel Of Swedenin pidennykset alkuperäisessä muodossaan. Pidennyshius on ihanan pehmeetä ja hyvälaatuista! Mulla on ollu Rapunzelin pidennykset ennenkin, eikä oo kyllä mitään pahaa sanottavaa.

Here's the extensions I got from Rapunzel Of Sweden, in their original from. The hair if awesomely soft and good quality! I've had Rapunzel's extensions before too and I have nothing negative to say about them.

Mittasin mun pään ohimolta ohimolle ja leikkasin hiusnauhasta sen levyisiä osioita. Oli muuten hyvin mitoitettu toi hiusnauha, sillä sain siitä just neljä saman kokoista osiota!

I measured my head from my left temple to the right one and cut the hair weft in pieces. I got four pieces from the weft!

Ompelin hiusosiot yhteen, jonka jälkeen ompelin molempiin reunoihin kiinni kumilenksut ja kumilenksuihin solmin kiinni siiman jonka mittasin omaan päähäni sopivaksi.

I sew the hair pieces together and after that I attached hooks of elastic band to both edges. Then I just tied the fishing wire to the elactic band hooks and measured the wire so it fits my head.

Valmiit pidennykset näyttää tältä!

The extensions are now ready and they look like this!

Näytän teille vielä miten nää laitetaan päähän! Sata kertaa helpompaa kun klipsien laitto, kun ei tarvitse tehdä jakauksia niille ja napsutella klipsejä kiinni. Tässä oma tukka ilman pidennyksiä suihkun jälkeen. Tän jälkeen kiharsin tukan ennenkuin iskin pidennykset päähän.

Now I'm going to show you how to attach them! It's million times easier and faster than with clips. You don't need to do any partings and push the clips against your scalp to close them. Here's my own hair after shower without extensions. After taking this pic, I curled my hair before putting in the extensions.

Eli näin pidennykset asetetaan päähän ekaks. Jos mietitte minkä takia pidennyksiin ommeltiin kiinni kumilenksut niin syy on tässä: niiden avulla saa joustoa ja pidennysosio siimoinen asettuu helpommin kiinni päähän ja pysyy paikoillaan.

So this is how you put them on your head at first. If you were wondering what's the point of the elastic bands: here's the reason for them: you get more elasticity to the wire and it keeps in place in your head.

Seuraavaksi vaan nostelet piikkikammalla oman tukan pidennysten päälle. Helppoa, eikö?

Then you just lift your own hair with a brush over the extensions. Easy, isn't it?

Etenkin jakauksen kohdalla kannattaa olla tarkka kun nostelee hiuksia siiman yli, että se menee varmasti piiloon.

Pay attention especially when pulling your hair over the extensions in the front, so the wire gets properly hidden.

Toista sama myös jakauksen toisella puolen ja pään takana.

Pull the hair over on the other side and the back of your head.

Valmis! Nyt vaan laitat kampauksen loppuun normaalisti. Mä en tehnyt muuta kuin tupeerasin vähän että saan volaa tukkaan. Sit lopuks vaan hiuslakkaa ja menoks!

And you're done! Now just do your hair like you would normally do. I only teased it a bit to get some volume. Add some hairspray and you're ready to go!

Mitä mieltä ootte uusista hiuksista ja vaikuttiko pidennykset helpoilta ja/tai paremmilta kuin klipsit? Mä oon ainakin melko varma etten tuu palaamaan klipseihin enää.

Oon muuten yllättynyt, sillä niinkuin sanoinkin, oon aina ennen käyttänyt kahta koko pään settiä mun tukassa ja nyt riitti vaan yks, eikä näytä mitenkään liruilta! Oon niin tyytyväinen!!
Niinkuin uhkasinkin, kasvatin otsiksen pois :D Vaatii kyllä vähän totuttelua näin kymmenen vuoden otsiksen kanssa elon jälkeen, mutta tykkään kyllä tästä muutoksesta :)

What do you think about my new hair and do the extensions seem easier and/or better than clip-ons? I'm pretty sure I won't use clips ever again.

I'm also surprised that this 100g of hair is enough for me! As I wrote earlier, I've previously used 2 full head sets, but this time only one set seems to be enough without looking thin. I'm so happy!!
I also grew out my bangs :D It takes some time to get used to it, since this is the first time in 10 years I don't have it, but I like this change :)

Niimpä latasin Sony Vegas Pron jolla oli tarkoitus sitten vähän parannella niitä värejä jne. sillä armaan Windows Movie Makerin ominaisuudet on melko rajalliset.

Oonko koskaan muuten kertonut, että vihaan videoeditointia? No nyt oon. En osannut yhtään käyttää sitä ohjelmaa plus että se preview osuus lagitti niin pahasti että hädintuskin näin mitä oon muokkaamassa.
Harmittaa ettei videosta tullut niin hienoa kun olin päässäni kaavaillut, mutta toivottavasti saatte selvää.

Hello, long time no see ! Time has passed so quickly again, I didn't even notice it was a long time since I last had updated my blog. Sorry about that.

But anyway, as I mentioned earlier, I finally got the nail tutorial filmed that I promised to do months ago ! Well, the filming was easy but the editing is a different story, haha.. :D After filming the tutorial in my kitchen under some shitty yellow light, the video clips looked horrible. So I decided to download Sony Vegas Pro and edit the colors a bit, since the possibilities in my belowed Windows Movie Maker are a bit limited.

Have I ever told you I absolutely hate video editig? Well, now I have. I had no idea how to use the program and the preview thing it was lagging so bad I could nearly see which part I was editing.
I'm a bit sad the video didn't turn out as pretty as I had imagined in my head, but I hope you enjoy it nevertheless.

Tällaiset kynnet siis tein Tiinalle pari viikkoa sitten. Videolla on ohjeet noiden kukkien maalaamiseen ja muiden härpättimien liimaamiseen ja lopuksi geelilakkaus siihen kaiken päälle.

Here's the nails I did for Tiina couple weeks ago. On the video I'm gonna show you how to paint the flowers, glue on the studs etc. and finally how to seal the design with gel top coat.

1. Oumaxin akryylimaaleja / Oumaxi acrylic paints
2. Neliskanttinen sivellin / Square brush
3. Joku muovinpala (käytän itse jämiä kynsimuottirullasta) / Plastic sheet
4. Pinsetit / Tweezers
5. Kynsiliima / Nail glue
6. Pyramidiniittejä / Square studs
7. Pieniä pyöreitä niittejä / Small round studs
8. Super Gloss gel top coat

En tiiä mitä noi tekstitykset vammaili ja sinne tuli aina välillä ylimääräisiä kirjaimia mun lauseiden loppuun :::D Noh, älkää niistä välittäkö. Toivottavasti tästä oli apua ja jos joku kohta jäi epäselväksi niin vastaan mielelläni kysymyksiin ! :)

I have no idea why the subtitles are lagging and some extra letters appeared after some words. Well, never mind that, I hope this was helpful and if you have any questions, I'll try to answer them as well as I can ! :)

Peruukit on kivoja mutta ne menee vähän turhan helposti solmuun. Sit kun rupeet harjaamaan niitä sotkuja auki, lopputuloksena on useimmiten hirvee läjä sellasta pöhöttynyttä muovihiusta, joka on kyl kaikkee muuta kuin kihara. Aattelin nyt tällein pikaseen näyttää, että miten sen saa takaisin kiharalle, tai jos on suora peruukki niin vaihdettua sen ilmettä.

Tajusin tosiaan vasta prosessin puolivälissä että hei, tästä vois kirjottaa blogiinkin, joten nappasin vaan äkkiä kännykällä muutamat kuvat. No, eiköhän niistä selvää saa !

Mun peruukit on kaikki kanekalonia eli en mee takuuseen toimiiko muilla materiaaleilla !

Välineet mitä tarvitset: Hiustenkuivaaja, harja, klipsejä/pinnejä/jotain ja foliosta rullattuja random pötköjä ! Tools you'll need: Blow dryer, hair brush, hair clips/pins/whatever you want and some sticks made of aluminum foil !

Vaihe 1: Harjaa hius selväksi, näyttää kauheelta pöhöltä, I know, mut ei huolta ! Step 1: Brush the hair till it's tangle free. Looks terrible I know, but don't worry !

Vaihe 2: Rullaa hiukset osio kerrallaan foliopötköjen ympärille. Step 2: Roll the hair around the foil sticks in small parts.

Vaihe 3: Jatka rullaamista beibi. Hommaa helpottaa jos jaat koko peruukin vaikka 3-4 osaan jotka kiharrat jokaisen vuorollaan. Kannattaa aloittaa alimmista hiuksista niin ylläolevat voi pitää poissa tieltä. Step 3: Keep on rollin' baby. It's easier if you divide the wig in 3-4 parts and don't curl everything at once. I suggest you start with the hair in the lowest part so the hair on the top won't get in your way.

Vaihe 4: Fööni käteen ja anna palaa ! Tai no, ei kirjaimellisesti lol. Yhtä kiharaa on hyvä puhaltaa n. 40-60 sekuntia, mitä pidempään kuumennat hiusta, sitä enemmän korkkiruuville se menee. Jos tuntuu et nyt tuli liian kihara, niin luonnollisestikin sen jälkeen kun oot avannut noi foliojutut, voit puhaltaa sillä föönillä uudestaan ja vedellä hiusta hellästi alaspäin. Step 4: Take the blow dryer and heat it up ! A good amount of time for each curl is around 40-60 seconds, the longer you heat it up, the curlier it turns out. If you feel like it became too curly, naturally you can heat it up again after opening the foil sticks and pull the curl gently while you do that.

Vaihe 5: Avaa foliorullat varovasti ja haro sormin sellaiseksi kun haluut. En oo vielä laittanut mitään aineita tähän joten oottelen innolla miten nää kestää :D Raportoin siitä vaikka myöhemmin, haha. Jos haluutte verrata miltä näytti aikasemmin niin kattokaa aikasemman postauksen kuvat. Toivottavasti tästä oli apua jollekin :D Step 5: Open the foil sticks and style with your fingers as you please. I haven't used any styling products for it yet atleast so i'm waiting to see how the curls last :D I'll report about that later, haha. Noniin vihdoinkin osa 2 tättärää, torvet soi ! Eikun mitä....
Mulla oli hirvee inspiraation puute näitten kynsien kanssa ja osittain siksi kesti niin kauan tän kakkos osan kanssa. Niinkun aikasemmassa entryssä kirjotin, en saanu toteutettua mun alkuperäistä visiota välineiden puutteen takia niin tulikin vähän erilaiset sit.

Tässä välineet mitä näiden tekoon tarvii:

I had a horrible lack of inspiration with these nails, and that's part of the reason why it took me so long to make the part 2. As I wrote in the previous entry, I couldn't do them as I first planned since I didn't find any decorations that would've matched my vision, so they came out a bit different because of that.

Lakkaa osa kynsistä vaaleanpunaisella, osa mustalla, mut suurimpaan osaan tee tollanen hopeinen glitter kynsi.
Glitterin saa kynnelle helposti silleen, et lakkaa eka yhen kerroksen kirkasta lakkaa, dippaa kynnen glitteriin kun se on vielä märkä ja varovasti pyyhkii ylimääräiset hileet pois. Sen jälkeen vaan niin monta kerrosta kirkasta lakkaa päälle, ettei tunnu enää karhealta.


Toista sama kynnen alusille, ettei näytä tyhmältä. Tätä ei tietenkään tartte tehä jos käyttää läpinäkyviä tippejä.


Lakkaa pieniä mustia pisteitä vaaleanpunaiseen kynteen, käyttämällä apunasi jotain random tikkua.


Lisää blingiä 8D tein yhteen kynteen ristin ja toiseen tollasen random rykelmän.


Ja lopuksi vielä kirkasta päälle ja valmista tuli ! Kantsii kuitenkin välttää laittamasta lakkaa noiden blingien päälle, ettei ne sumennu.
Tää oli nyt tällanen helppo ja simppeli tuto, mut lopputulos on ihan kivan näkönen, right?



Entäs tippien poisto? Mulla ei nyt valitettavasti oo kuvia siitä, koska en viitti samantien repiä näitä pois :D Mut se ei oo mikään vaikee temppu (ainakaan mun super pro menetelmillä lol) niin tässä tämmönen step-by-step selostus !


Mun kynnet pysyy yleensä 1-2 kuukautta, koska liimailen aina pienetkin murtumat heti piiloon, lakkaan niitä kohtia uudestaan, mistä lakka ekana kuluu, ja jos joku blingi tippuu pistän uuden tilalle jne.
Jokatapauksessa, siinä vaiheessa kun rupeen poistaan tipit, ne on jo sen verran kuluneet, että irtoovat melko helposti.


kynsisakset / nail scissors
Ekana leikkaan tipit poikki ja revin saksilla kaiken minkä saan irti. Leikatessa tipin poikki, se yleensä taipuilee siitä kohtaa mistä se on liimattu kiinni, ja irtoo helposti. Jos ei, niin sit vaan riuhtoo niillä saksilla niin ettei omat kynnet hajoo (paitsi et niinkin käy joskus ja joudun leikkaan ihan lyhyeks).


kynsilakanpoistoaine / nailpolish remover
Poista lakat kynsilakanpoistoaineella. Saattaa tosin olla vaikeeta jos kynsiin on liimattu paljon koristeita, sillä luonnollisestikaan kynsilakanpoistoaine ei tepsi liimaan.


kynsiviila / nail file
Jos kynsiin jäi vielä liimarippeitä, viilaa ne pois.


kynsirasva / nail cream
Kaikesta rääkistä ja viilaamisesta kynnen pinta jää kuluneen näköiseksi. Siispä, rasvaa kynnet ja kynsien ympärillä oleva iho. Tähän käy mikä tahansa perus rasvakin, ei tartte olla mitään tollasta hifistely tököttiä. Tän jälkeen kynnet on takaisin tässä tilassa.

Because your nails have been having a hard time, add some nail cream to your nails and the skin around them. You can use any basic cream, no need to have any special nail cream like I have. After all these steps, your nails should be back in this state.
