CORM=萌え?

bomber corm top joyrich shoes fig&viper socks fig&viper shades wildfox couture

Ahoy! Seems like another cool online store has opened it's interactive doors in Finland recently. Corm.moe's clothing are inspired by Harajuku, future and the internet which is a pretty cool combo, don't you think? And it's definitely something Finland hasn't had before.

I got to pick some of my favourite items from their store and these are the two outfits I put together using those items! Which one do you prefer? I love mesh things so I went wild and picked both, their mesh bomber and the mesh dress haha. I love them. The bomber especially is super cool.

But you know what's even better? Corm actually has a pop-up store in Helsinki at the moment! I went to check it out last week and it was nice to see all the clothes in person and meet the lovely staff who run the store. So if you have time, do check it out! The store can be found at Unioninkatu 25 until the next Sunday.

Here's some pics I took when I visited the store ↓↓↓

Cute, right?! But even if you can't make it to the store this week, no worries! I actually have a discount code for you to make your shopping a bit easier. They currently ship to Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France and the UK besides Finland.

USE CODE "BLACKSALIVA" TO GET 15% OFF FROM YOUR ORDER!
the code expires on 26/07/2015 midnight

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Chloe's hair extensions

I wanted to start this post by writing "Guess what these are??" but then I realized I already wrote the answer on the post title so that would've been stupid lol. Well, anyhow! These two neatly packed boxes were sent to me by Chloe's and I got them in the mail a bit earlier this week. Let's see what was inside!

Wooow I really like the packaging! Most of the extensions I've tried (and believe me, I've tried many) have come in a long plastic package, so these feel really fancy after that. And especially after how I recieved my current extensions; packed in those plastic bags as well, but they had been squished into the smallest cardboard box you could ever fit them into, and one of the extensions sets had managed to escape it's original package, so it was all over the place and a total mess when I got them. Not to mention it took 6 weeks to recieve them lol.

So yeah, these seem really good so far!

Chloe's (english site here) is a fairly new hair extension company, so I was excited to try out their extensions and see what they're all about! They currently(?) sell clip-on extensions only, one set has 140 grams of 100% human hair and is ~50cm long. I kinda wish they would have more length options to choose from, because I'd prefer 60cm... Anyway, one set costs a bit over 100€ which is not bad at all, considering 140g would totally be enough hair for someone with thin to normal hair. Most of the extensions I've had before, have had only 100g.

But as a someone who loves big hair, I got two sets in #60 aka the lightest blonde shade, just in case. I love to have my extensions thick enough, so I don't have to tease them at all when I do my hair and still have them voluminous. Because if I have to tease the extensions, they'll probably get bad faster than they normally would.

BUT, as there were 140g in each set and 280g in total, I think I might be able to survive with one and a half sets? We'll see!

The hair feels silky smooth and looks really pretty. I mean, if you like that kind of blonde ;) I have some other plans for these which I will talk about more in the end of this post so keep reading!

As I mentioned before, these are clip-ons and let me just say this: I've come across some really poor clips in the past, that you have to bend first in order to make them work, or clips that require way too much power than necessary to close the clips.

These clips were really easy to clip on and I tried to wear them at home for one day and they stayed on really well. I remember when I used to wear clip-ons and had to fix them during the day because they started to get loose. These seemed to stay on pretty well.

So, if you're a clip-ons kind of girl (or guy!), go for these. They do their job well.

I on the other hand don't see any reason to go back to clip-ons from my flip-ins/halo/wire extensions, so I'll be transforming these to flip-ins as well when I start using them.

The box they come in, can also be used as storage for the extensions when you're not using them or when you're traveling and need to pack them with you. I mean, incase you're not wearing them on a daily basis.

In short: the quality seems good, the amount of hair is great and so is the price AND they arrive in a fancy box. Minus points for only one option in length and attachment method. Overally a great deal, so I recommend you to check them out!
I'm looking forward to see how they act when dyed etc.

But yeah... As I was saying earlier, I have some plans for these extensions. You know I've had this hair color since March 2013 and I really like it but... I've recently started missing one of my previous haircolors and I think it's time to bring this hair back:

I miss the gray locks I had in 2012 so much!! And I think it would look even better now that I don't have bangs anymore. The change wouldn't be that big, but it would feel fresh to have some other color for change.

Since the gray "granny hair" seems to be the trend and all now haha, I'm sure there must be some new gray hair products in the market because three years ago there sure wasn't that many. So, if you know some good hairdyes etc worth checking out, please let me know! I know I won't be using the Palty dye I used the last time, because it was kinda crappy after all.

It would be great if you could recommend me products that I can find from Finland, because it would be much more convenient than ordering the dye online if I happen to need it quickly to fix the colour/roots etc.

I will keep this lilac hair for a few months more, because my current extensions are still in quite good shape and I don't want to "waste" them haha. But that just means I have enough time to do some research and update my knowledge about gray hair, before I take action!

Have a great weekend!

Cool sh*t from Edge.fi!!

Hiyaaaa! Today I want to tell you about this new finnish onlinestore called Edge.fi. Have you heard of it? They started at the end of last year so it's a fairly new store - but a very cool one at that, and I got really excited when I was asked to collaborate with them!! They currently have brands like Coal N Terry, Ivory Jar, Like Life Clothing etc in their selection, but I'm sure the list will grow with similar brands in the future.

You know I have collaborated with some other clothing stores in the past, but I feel like this one actually fits my style like 110% which is a big plus. Instead of trying to find the only piece I might like in the whole store, I was left wanting more stuff from them hahaha. I especially liked the CNT shorts and I've been secretly drooling over those since I first saw them online some years ago. Now I finally have a pair!♡

Anyway, I got to pick some stuff in exchange for a blog post and here's what I picked: Pretty Gold Cutoff shorts by Coal N Terry & Mathilda T-Shirt and Christ Beanie by Ivory Jar. In this post you can see two outfits I put together by using those pieces! I actually just realized the print on the t-shirt is based on a movie called Léon: The Professional... Well, might as well watch it now so it won't be awkward lol. I just thought it looked cool haha.

The shipping was really fast too. I made my order on Monday evening and recieved it on Wednesday. They currently ship to Finland only, but the page should open for international orders soon as well!

So! Which outfit you liked better? Please share your thoughts and remember to go like/follow Edge on Facebook and Instagram ✞

Also, here's something nice for my readers:

Drooling Over Your Polish

GUYS. I HAVE SOME VERY EXCITING NEWS FOR YOU ALL. You might know about this already if you've been following me on other social media platforms, such as Instagram and Twitter, but now.. it's time to make it official!

You probably know that I'm absolutely crazy about almost everything nail-related, and if you don't... well you know now and you can only imagine how friggin' excited I am about this!! One of my long-term dreams has been to get to design my own nail polish and... IT FINALLY CAME TRUE!!

idkuva
I wanted the name of the polish to be somewhat related to my blog's title and 'white saliva' or 'gold saliva' would've been super lame so I came up with this instead! It's kinda funny and cute, ain't it? :-D

I was at work one day and Satu started talking about a custom nail polish collection we might have a change to do with this great indie polish brand - Dollish Polish, and I immediately agreed it would be a great idea. SO, we started thinking about it right away and decided we would ask some of our bloggers to collaborate with us and have them each create their own dream polish.

And well, I might be working for CesarsShop and I might not exactly fit into the beauty/nail blogger category, but I am a blogger as well and nails are a big part of me and this blog. SO I BUTTED MY WAY IN, haha. The other fabulous bloggers we asked to join the project are Charming Nails, Saara Sarvas, Polishaholic, Better Nail Day, Wasting Lifestyle and Sonnela.

L to R: Charming Nails, me, Saara Sarvas, Polishaholic, Better Nail Day & Wasting Lifestyle and Sonnela.

So. If you were given the task to design any kind of polish, what would yours be like? Well, for sure you don't want something that you know already exists, right? After that you'll probably start thinking what kind of formulas you prefer. I mostly like cremes and glitters and that's pretty much it. A creme polish would've been boring to do, so it was easy to decide I would go with glitter!

The next thing I asked myself was; what kind of glitter? And in what colors? I had two ideas. I could mix all kinds of pretty colors together, or I could go with a more simple version and pick two colors. I decided to go with the two-color version and picked my favorite colors for it. WHITE and GOLD.

This was the first picture I saw after giving Dolly my ideas for the polish. It was perfect right away!

I wanted the polish to have a clear base so it could be used as a glitter topper or on it's own. I first was thinking about picking one of the colors as the "main color", but ended up going 50% and 50% in the end. The nail polish has white hexagon glitter in 4 different sizes and gold hexagon glitter in 3 different sizes and the final product is so goddamn pretty and sparkly and exactly how I imagined it would be!

We finally recieved these polishes at Cesars last week and I decided to do my nails with it right away. I continued with the white x gold theme and this is how they turned out! The other polishes I used, were Essie Blanc and art liners in white and gold glitter.

I love how they turned out, what do you think?

AND THE BEST PART; This nail polish collection will be sold exclusively at www.CesarsShop.fi starting tomorrow at 18:00! So if you're drooling over mine (or somebody else's) polish, be sure to check it out! The price is 14,80€ for a bottle and they're 15ml each.

Sadly, we can only ship inside Finland due to the finnish customs that suck and don't allow shipping nail polish outside our country. Sorry about that.

playground plaid

jacket gina tricot plaid shirt choies top boy london x long clothing leggings choies
beanie boy london shoes kookenkä shades choies necklace choies

Whoop whoop whaddap guys? I thought I'd show you my current favorite casual look that I've been wearing on many occasions lately! I got some money to spend at Choies a while ago and picked a few things from their store that I'm wearing in these pics.

My number one favorite piece of these is the long red plaid shirt, which actually is a dress, but you can wear it as a cardigan if you don't button it up! I was actually planning to buy a similar piece from Black Moral (1, 2), but it sold out super quickly and I couldn't get my hands on it so I went with the second best option. The red one seems to be sold out atm, but they still have it in green here which is as cool as this one.

The other things I picked were the leggings, the necklace and the sunglasses WHICH I KNOW are knock-offs of the House of Holland shades I've drooling over for a long time but haven't had the change to buy them.... Well, I wouldn't buy fake stuff but I got these for free so forgive my sins ok.
I also got this cool harness thing, but I haven't figured out an outfit for it yet.

Also, guess what!!! Remember when I asked you guys to throw some questions about my nails and how do I do stuff with them? That was like half a year ago lol but anyway. Yesterday, me and Sini finally filmed it! I'll try to get it edited during the Easter holiday so please look forward to it, ok?

color club & ruby wing F/W 2013

While I may not know much about high fashion and all the new designer collections, I keep my eyes on different nailpolish collections from different brands instead! I think O.P.I, Essie and China Glaze for example had really boring and predictable collections this fall, but oh boy, was I excited when I saw what Color Club was about to release!

Being such a nail freak as I am, my favourite part of my work is that I get to try out all these new polishes and other products by making swatches and samples etc. of them.

Sooo we got these 3 different collections last week and here's the swatches for them! The collections are Color Club Fall 2013: Girl About Town, Color Club Winter 2013: Harlem Lights and Ruby Wing Fall 2013: Cupcakes & Champagne. I decided to include the Ruby Wing collection in this post as well, because RW is like Color Club's little sister brand.

So here we have all three collections! At first you might think Girl About Town doesn't give you the autumn vibe at all, and that's what I thought too and that's exactly why I liked it so much! I'm not a fan of dark and muddy shades when it comes to nailpolish, so I'm not usually excited about fall releases. I liked all the creme polishes in this collection a lot :)

The winter collection on the other hand is really pretty and it reminds me of winter itself instead of Christmas which is also great. Savoy Nights, the light blue glitter polish is definitely the must-have of this collection, it looks amazing! Apollo Star is the weird one of this collection. It's almost like... a liquid sand polish?

The Ruby Wing collection has 6 different scented polishes. They're mostly glitter toppers in clear base and will look the best if you apply them over a creme polish I think. I didn't really like any of these, but they smell so damn sweet! I kinda want to get Chocolate Mousse, Strawberry Shortcake and Doux just so I can put them on my nails and be sniffing my fingers all day long, haha. Is that weird?

Here's the Ruby Wing collection after a moment in the sun. Yes, they change color! That's the main concept of RW polishes in the first place.

And finally, here's my picks! These are the 5 polishes I liked the most. I'm a big fan of creme and glitter polishes so that's obviously what I chose. I also chose The Uptown, which is a multicolor flakie glitter in purple jelly base. Hmm, I think this will look great over similar toned purple creme.

I had my previous nails for 5 weeks, so it was about time to do new ones. I decided to try some of the new Fall & Winter shades, and here's the result! Polishes I used (all from Color Club):
1000 Silver Lake
1004 Wicker Park
1011 Savoy Nights
450 Black
948 Platinum Record
ABM5275 Jingle Jangle

idkuva
The spike studs I used for decorating the nails are so damn sharp... As I tweeted earlier today, I'm sure I'll hurt myself with them or atleast ruin all my stockings, haha.

Opinions about the nails or the new collections?
