Yooo! I have a product that I want to review for you. It's a velour liquid lipstick by Jeffree Star and you've already seen me wearing it in a couple of my previous posts. I follow Jeffree on Instagram, not because of his music but because I like the makeup stuff he posts, so when he first started posting about his own cosmetics brand and these lipsticks, I took a mental note to keep an eye on the process because it seemed interesting.

After the long wait was finally over and these were released, there was 3 different colors to choose from and a bundle that included all three colors. I was first thinking about getting all three, but changed my mind because one of the colors was neon pink and I felt like I might not have use for it... So in the end I only bought my favourite color of the bunch, which is this gorgeous shade of purple; I'm Royalty. I love purple lipsticks so much.


The packaging is really cute and reminds me of Barbie for some reason, but it doesn't feel cheap at all when you hold it. I was really sceptic about the applicator and if you can do sharp lines with it, but you can! So you won't be needing a different lip brush for lining.

But if I have to give critique about something, it's the size of the cap you hold on to when applying. I wish it would be a bit bigger so it would fit better in my hand when applying the lipstick. But that's the only thing, hehe.

So! The package says you should allow about 60 seconds for it to dry and after that, it has become completely matte and cool. I filmed at little clip showing how well it stays on after it's dried:

Amazing right? I've actually been trying to eat different things while wearing this, so I could see how well it stays on :DD What I usually find the hardest ones to eat while wearing a lipstick, are salads and with oily dressings and other greasy food, because my lipstick always likes to run outside the lines.

This one on the other hand doesn't do that! The only thing I noticed is that when eating, it might start crumbling a bit from the inner parts, but that's super easy to fix when you're done eating.

Other good points are that it feels like there's almost nothing on your lips when you wear it, and if it's windy outside, your hair won't get stuck on your lips because it's matte.

The removal is a bit harder than with a regular lipstick, because you can't just grab a piece of toilet paper and rub it off. You have to use makeup remover to get it off, but even my non-waterproof remover works fine.


I also wanted to include a little lip lining tutorial to this post about how to make your lips look bigger and fuller, because I've gotten questions if I took lip fillers recently (the answer is no, I haven't :D) and requests for tips. So, here we go!


1. Start with bare lips! As you can see, my upper lip is quite small and I'm okay with that, but it looks a bit silly with lipstick if I don't over-draw the lines a bit.

For a matte lipstick like this one, it's recommended to scrub and moisturize your lips well before using it. So go do some scrubbing and put on lip balm when you start doing your makeup, BUT remember to wipe it off when you get to the part when you do your lips. Otherwise the lipstick might not stay on so well.


2. This step is optional. If you feel like you need some help figuring out where the lines should be, start lining your natural lip line first. Then start rising it slowly till you're satisfied with the size/shape of your upper lip.

I didn't have the exact same color of liner as the lipstick is, but it doesn't matter because the coverage is amazing as it will be opaque in one coat and will hide this liner completely.


3. Go over your lips and the lines with the lipstick. Let dry and you're ready to go!


I might've gotten a bit too excited about this lipstick, because I made an order to Lime Crime few days ago and bought 5 new lipsticks.... (3 of them are liquid ones like this and 2 are regular) I hope I will get them soon! If you wanna see the colors I ordered, go see my Facebook page, I posted a pic there.

The wait is finally over and my "How do you do that shit with those nails?!" -video is ready to be published! I tried to film all the things you asked me to and I hope the video turned out to be atleast somewhat satisfying! If it wasn't for Sini, I don't know how much longer it would've taken me to get this done, so huuuge thanks to her for helping me out!

I absolutely hate video editing (because I suck at it so bad), so the result isn't visually super awesome but I hope you don't mind and the point gets through anyway.

If you still have questions about how I do some things, ask away :D But I think this video should make it clear that the nails don't prevent me from doing daily stuff.

I guess you might have noticed it as well, but I get A LOT of questions about my nails, such as "how can you live with those", "how do you use a smart phone", "how do you wipe your butt" and then list goes on.

I got tired of answering all those questions like "ahh, you get used to everything", "it's not hard at all", SO! I decided I will make a little video where I will show you guys how I do daily things with them since you obviously don't seem to believe me hahaha.

Here's a few fun facts: my nails are 5,0-5,5cm long, they are gel nails made with forms and I wear one set of nails for approximately 4-5 weeks before I make new ones.

So drop your questions in the comment box below and I'll include them in my video.
I think this will be a lot of fun to make and I hope the video will finally make you all realize that I can manage perfectly fine lol!

Moikka pitkästä aikaa ! Kauhee kun aika on menny nopee, en ees tajunnu että oon ollut näin kauan postaamatta, pahoittelut siitä siis.

Mutta sen kummemmitta puheitta iloisempiin uutisiin ! Kuten aiemmin mainitsinkin, sain vihdoin siis kuvattua sen kauan lupailemani kynsitutoriaalin ! Kuvaaminen meni iisisti, mutta videon editoiminen ei sujunutkaan ihan niin sutjakkaasti.. :D Kuvattuani videon siis suht kämäisen keltaisen keittiönlampun valon alla, videot oli ihan hirveetä keltasta kuraa.. Niimpä latasin Sony Vegas Pron jolla oli tarkoitus sitten vähän parannella niitä värejä jne. sillä armaan Windows Movie Makerin ominaisuudet on melko rajalliset.

Oonko koskaan muuten kertonut, että vihaan videoeditointia? No nyt oon. En osannut yhtään käyttää sitä ohjelmaa plus että se preview osuus lagitti niin pahasti että hädintuskin näin mitä oon muokkaamassa.
Harmittaa ettei videosta tullut niin hienoa kun olin päässäni kaavaillut, mutta toivottavasti saatte selvää.

Hello, long time no see ! Time has passed so quickly again, I didn't even notice it was a long time since I last had updated my blog. Sorry about that.

But anyway, as I mentioned earlier, I finally got the nail tutorial filmed that I promised to do months ago ! Well, the filming was easy but the editing is a different story, haha.. :D After filming the tutorial in my kitchen under some shitty yellow light, the video clips looked horrible. So I decided to download Sony Vegas Pro and edit the colors a bit, since the possibilities in my belowed Windows Movie Maker are a bit limited.

Have I ever told you I absolutely hate video editig? Well, now I have. I had no idea how to use the program and the preview thing it was lagging so bad I could nearly see which part I was editing.
I'm a bit sad the video didn't turn out as pretty as I had imagined in my head, but I hope you enjoy it nevertheless.

Tällaiset kynnet siis tein Tiinalle pari viikkoa sitten. Videolla on ohjeet noiden kukkien maalaamiseen ja muiden härpättimien liimaamiseen ja lopuksi geelilakkaus siihen kaiken päälle.

Here's the nails I did for Tiina couple weeks ago. On the video I'm gonna show you how to paint the flowers, glue on the studs etc. and finally how to seal the design with gel top coat.

1. Oumaxin akryylimaaleja / Oumaxi acrylic paints
2. Neliskanttinen sivellin / Square brush
3. Joku muovinpala (käytän itse jämiä kynsimuottirullasta) / Plastic sheet
4. Pinsetit / Tweezers
5. Kynsiliima / Nail glue
6. Pyramidiniittejä / Square studs
7. Pieniä pyöreitä niittejä / Small round studs
8. Super Gloss gel top coat

En tiiä mitä noi tekstitykset vammaili ja sinne tuli aina välillä ylimääräisiä kirjaimia mun lauseiden loppuun :::D Noh, älkää niistä välittäkö. Toivottavasti tästä oli apua ja jos joku kohta jäi epäselväksi niin vastaan mielelläni kysymyksiin ! :)

Kuten aiemmassa postauksessa mainitsinkin, käytiin viikonloppuna lyhyellä Tukholman risteilyllä. Matkaan lähdettiin lauantai-iltana, sunnuntai vietettiin Tukholmassa pyörien ja maanantaiaamuna oltiin jo takaisin Helsingissä.

Mulla sattui lojumaan laatikossa Viking Linen lahjakortti jolla sai matkan 2-4 neljälle hengelle, joten nappasin mukaani Alexin, Heikin ja Oonan.

As I mentioned on my previous post, we did a short weekend trip to Stockholm last week. The cruise left Helsinki on Saturday evening, then we spent the Sunday in Stockholm and on Monday morning we were already back in Helsinki.

I happened to have a gift card for Viking Line which would allow a free trip fot 2-4 people, so I took Alex, Heikki and Oona with me.

Tukholmaan saavuttuamme tavattiin Alexin kaveri André joka toi mukanaan oman kaverinsa, Marijelan. Oli kiva kun oli joku joka osasi näyttää paikkoja ! Oon siis itse tosiaan käynyt Tukholmassa viimeksi 2008, enkä oikein osannut hahmottaa missä on mitäkin.

Koska aikaa ei kuitenkaan ollut kovin paljoa, tsekattiin pikaisesti muutamat kaupat keskustassa ja käytiin yhdessä syömässä (Burger King haha), mutta oli tosi kivaa silti ! Ihmeempiä en ostellut, yhdet kivat sukkikset löysin :D Näätte ne myöhemmin.

After we arrived to Stockholm, we met up with Alex's friend André who brought his friend Marijela along. It was really nice to have someone local to show the city for us ! The last time I visited Stockholm was in 2008 so I didn't really remember anything about it.

Because there wasn't much time to spend in the city, we just checked some stores in the center and went to eat together (to Burger King haha), but it was a really nice day ! I didn't buy anything special, just found a pair of cool stockings which I'm gonna show you later.

Moikka ! Oon parhaillaan junassa matkalla kohti Jyväskylää, ja aattelin päivittää blogia jotta tää kolmen tunnin puuduttava paikoillaan istuminen menis nopeemmin.
Joulu tuli tänä vuonna jotenkin niin nopee, etten oo kerennyt vielä ees sisäistää sitä. Kaikki rahani tosin onnistuin kuluttamaan joululahjaostoksiin.

Yhden lahjan oon jo itsekin saanut, nää kengät nimittäin ! Sain Satulta haasteen käydä etsimässä itselleni lahjan, joten kiersin kaikki keskustan liikkeet läpi ja lopulta tärppäsi Spirit Storessa. Iskin silmäni näihin Jeffrey Campbellin kiilakorolla varustettuihin nilkkureihin, kokeilin jalkaan ja olin myyty.

Oon jo pidemmän aikaa etsinyt kenkiä jossa olis sellanen korko millä pysyis pystyssä lumihangessakin, koska ärsyttää kun talvisin joutuu aina käyttämään ihan matalia kenkiä. Korkoa näissä on n. 10cm ja platoa 3cm. Jalassa tuntuu kuin ei olis korkoa juuri ollenkaan !

Hi there ! I'm currently in a train, on my way to Jyväskylä to spend Christmas with my family. I decided to blog a little something so this awfully boring 3 hours in this train would pass by a bit faster.
Christmas came so soon this year and I have hard time trying to accept the fact that there's only 2 days to go before the eve. On the other hand tho, I've managed to spend all my money on Christmas presents.

I also got one present for myself already, which is these shoes ! I got a challenge from Satu to go find something for myself, so I checked nearly all the stores in the center and finally found these booties by Jeffrey Campbell from Spirit Store. I tried them on and it was instant love.

I've been looking foor a pair of shoes that have a heel but I could still wear them during winter, and these are perfect for that ! The heel is about 10cm and the platform 3cm, but they don't really feel like you're walking on heels when you wear them.

Mallin nimi on K-2 ja hintaa oli 159€ alennuksessa josta osan maksoin itse. Halusin kuitenkin jotain, mille mulla oli oikeesti tarvetta !

The model is called K-2 and they were 159€ on sale. I had to pay a part of the price by myself but I just wanted to get something I reaaally needed !

Uudet kengät in action ja kauhee ylipainava matkalaukku, ugh. Tuli muuten samalla testattua nää kengät kovassa käytössä, nimittäin eilen käytiin kattomassa Tavastialla Huoratronia näin maailman lopun kunniaksi !

Keikka oli ihan mieletön, kuten kaikki aiemmatkin kerrat mitä oon Huoratronia käynyt katsomassa. Keikan loppupuolella oltiin jotenkin ajauduttu eturiviin, jossa oli huomattavasti helpompi olla kuin keskellä missä ihmiset riehui ja kaatuili päälle. Parit juomatkin taisin saada niskaani :D Puhumattakaan siitä miten hyvin nähtiin lavalle, wuuhuu !

New boots in action and an awfully heavy suitcase, ugh. I also wore these shoes to Huoratron's gig yesterday when we celebrated the World's End !

The gig was amazing, as all Huoratron gigs I've seen. At the end of the gig, we found ourselves in the front row, where it was so much easier to breathe and nobody was stepping on your toes. Not to mention the view to the stage. The people partying in the middle of the venue were crazy. Falling on you and spilling their drinks hehe, so the front row was much better, woohoo !

Ja näin kaikui näytöksen viimeiset sävelet perjantai-iltana. Kuvasin tän videon iPadilla näytöksen lopusta. En tosin tainnut ihan loppuun asti ajatella, kun kuvasin tän tyhmästi pystyssä, mutta eipä se mitään. Koko näytöksen voi katsella täältä huomattavasti parempi laatuisena.
On varmaan sanomattakin selvää, että näytöksen vaatteet olivat upeaa katseltavaa.

Here's a short video I filmed with my iPad at the fashion show on Friday evening, last week. Seems like I didn't think the situation through because the video is vertical, but hehe nevermind. I guess I don't need to tell you, but the clothes were amazing.

Nappasin nämä kaksi kuvaa omalta paikaltani, jonka jälkeen laitoin kameran pois. Mun ja Alexin paikat oli toisessa rivissä, koska mentiin istumaan vähän myöhässä. Paikoilta näki kyllä todella hyvin, mutta mua häiritsi noi edessä istuvien päät jotka tuli väkisinkin kuviin.

I took these two pictures from my seat and after that, decided to put my camera away. Alex and me had seats on the second row, because we went to get our seats a bit late. You could see the models really well from our seats, but taking pictures kinda sucked because the people on the first row were on the way.

Näytöksen jälkeen käytiin moikkaamassa Mertiä ja muita tuttuja backstagella ja syötiin Alien kakkua.

After the show, we went to the backstage to say hi to Mert and other people and had some Alien cake.



Nyt oonkin sit maanantaista lähtien maannut kotona peiton alla kipeenä, mutta nyt alkaa onneksi jo vähän helpottaa ja hyvä niin, sillä huomenna suuntaan kohti Jyväskylää viikonlopuksi ja junamatka vois olla aika tuskallinen super kipeenä. Noh, toivotaan parasta.

And now I've been sick since Monday and spent my time laying under the covers at home. But luckily I've been starting to feel more okay today. Lucky me, because tomorrow I will pack my bags and head to Jyväskylä for the weekend and a three hours long train trip could be a bit painful if you're feeling ill. Well, let's hope for the best.

Okei alotetaan vaikka tästä parista jonka sain pyytämättä. En voinu olla huomaamatta näitten samankaltaisuutta Princess Mimi -sarjan linssien kanssa ja aattelin et ompas kopiolinssit (kuva vertailusta alempana). Mut eron kyllä huomasin siinä vaiheessa kun sain linssit silmiin asti. Oon tottunut siihen et Mimit on sellaset joitten takaa ei nää omaa silmän värii ollenkaan, ja linssien väri on tosi voimakas. Näissä ei kyl oo. Ilman salamavaloo on vaikee ees saada selvää et näitten pitäis olla violetit. Mut muuten jees.

Ok, let's begin with the pair I got without asking. I couldn't help but notice the similarity between these and the lenses in Princess Mimi -series and thought oh, what a copies (pic of these and Mimi's below to see for yourself). But when I put them in my eyes, I noticed the difference immediately. When Mimi's fully hide your own eyecolor and are very bold, these don't have much pigment at all, so without flash light it's almost impossible to tell they're violet. Other than that, they're ok.

NONIIIIN ! Toisin kuin ylläolevissa, näissä ainakin on jytkyä !! Pyysin nää siks koska olin nähny nää Sinillä ja aattelin et ompa kivat. Sinisimmät siniset linssit ikinä, mut eipä ihme, tuolla sivuillakin luki et "perfect for cosplay" jne, toimii. Ainoo miinus et salamal kuvatessa oma silmän väri kurkkaa rumasti läpi mut eipä sil niin välii ku eipä mun ympärillä luonnossa pyöri paparazzeja salamavaloineen.
FINALLY ! Unlike the lenses above, these are bold !! I asked for these lenses because I had seen Sini wearing them before, and I though 'ooh, what a nice lenses'. The bluest blue lenses ever, but no wonder when it says "perfect for cosplay" on the website. The only minus is that when you take pics with flash you can see your own eyecolor too buuut, it's not like there's paparazzis and lights flashing all around me in real life, hhahahahah.

Pyysin tän itelleni koska käytän linssei kuiteski lähes jokapäivä, tiiän sen hirveen tunteen kun linssit alkaa hiertään, kuivuun, you name it. Joten aattelin josko näistä ois mitään apua. Ja.... tättärärää, TOIMII. Keksinkin useemman tavan käyttää näitä.

1. Tippa per silmä toimii samantien, mutta ainakin mulla valuu poskille joka kerta, mikä ei oo kivaa meikin kanssa.
2. Sama kuin aikasempi, mutta ennenkuin meikkaa. Ei haittaa jos vähän valuu, ja sit ennaltaehkäsee sitä et alkais hiertään.
3. Pari tippaa suoraan linssikoteloon, sillonku piilarit on siellä. Auttaa sillon ku tiiät et oot laittamas sellaset linssit silmiin, jotka kuivaa helposti tjn.

1. 1 drop per eye works immediately, but keeps ruining your makeup if you're wearing some.
2. Same as above, but before doing your makeup. This way it doesn't matter if it doesn't stay in your eyes. Also prevents the lenses to start hurting later on that day.
3. Couple drops directly to the lenscase, when you know you're gonna wear some tricky lenses that dry easily etc.
